Hannah has over 10 years’experience teaching and leading English in secondary and complex needs schools. She’s specialised in supporting students with a range of sensory and physical needs. Hannah’s passionate about tailoring the curriculum to meet the individual needs of every learner.
Reading has been a cornerstone in Hannah’s life and career which led to co-founding Reading Mate with husband,James. As Head of Education,Hannah works closely with Heads of Schools and MATs to support them in creating reading cultures and inspiring a love of reading.
Laura has taught in both the state and independent sector and has an understanding of how different schools work and that all schools have a complex range of needs within them. As a Head of department, she has gained insight into the
importance of having the correct programmes and resources in place. Laura found this is vital in reducing workload and creating a supportive department for both staff and learners.
The importance of reading has been constant within her career and Laura aims to continue promoting the love of reading in more schools.
Yas is an English specialist with 12 years’ teaching experience across both rural and urban schools. She has 6 years’ experience leading a successful English department as well as being Literacy Lead. She has held a life-long passion for
reading, and throughout her career has strived to impart this passion to the young people she’s worked with; especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As an Education Partnership Manager, Yas is really looking forward to supporting schools and teachers to inspire their learners through reading.
